3. Hosting and Server Log Files

Our website is hosted with a European cloud provider. When you access our pages, technically necessary data is automatically processed by the server. This includes in particular: • IP address of the requesting device • Date and time of the request • URL of the requested page • Referrer URL (the previously visited page, if transmitted) • Browser type and version • Operating system This data is processed to ensure the technical delivery of the website, to maintain system security, and, where necessary, to analyse errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the operation and security of the website. No cookies are used for analytics, tracking, or marketing purposes.

5. Use of the App and User Account

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the application).

6. No Use of Tracking Tools

We do not use web analytics or tracking services such as Google Analytics or comparable tools. Your usage behaviour is not evaluated for marketing purposes.

7. Use of External Services

To style and render our website, we use a CSS framework that may be delivered via a content delivery network (CDN). In this process, the CDN provider may process technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time of request, browser information) in order to deliver the content and to ensure the security of the service. We take care to use only established providers and to integrate such services as sparingly as possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a performant and stable presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

8. No Newsletter, No Social Plugins

We do not send newsletters and we do not use social media plugins or similar services that would transfer personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

9. TLS/SSL Encryption

Our website uses Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) to protect the transmission of data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the prefix “https://” in your browser’s address bar and by the lock symbol displayed there.
